Course overview

This course trains personnel to recognize indicators of a WMD incident — chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, or explosive (CBRNE) — and to take appropriate initial protective actions before specialized units arrive.

Awareness-level training isn't about turning every responder into a bomb tech. It's about making sure the first person on scene recognizes the signs early enough to protect themselves, isolate the area, and get the right resources moving before things get worse.
