Over 38 years of experience in emergency services, starting as an EMT with the Ocean City, NJ Rescue Squad and Wildwood Fire Department, later as a paramedic, EMS chief, and EMS physician. A full-time, double board-certified EMS medical director covering over 100 police, tactical, beach patrol, fire, and EMS departments and agencies across 6 states — including FEMA PA-TF1 USAR and American Medical Response, which provides all BLS response and transport in Washington, DC and Baltimore. Maintains a field response capability for on-scene advanced care and bedside teaching, and is an experienced educator holding multiple instructor certifications for NAEMT and NAEMSP programs, Advanced Haz-Mat Life Support, and NJ EMT Instructor. He maintains his National Registry paramedic certification and holds certifications and training in pediatric and neonatal critical care transport, technical rescue, SCUBA, tactical medicine, and wilderness medicine. He has served as a Clinical Instructor of Emergency Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University.
