Course overview

HRS provides both qualitative and quantitative respirator fit testing to meet the requirements of OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard (29 CFR 1910.134), delivered on-site at your facility.

A respirator that isn't fit-tested is a piece of PPE nobody can actually rely on — the seal is the whole point. We come to you with the right method for your program (qualitative or quantitative) and leave you with documentation that stands up to an audit.

Qualitative or quantitative — which do we need?

It depends on the respirator type and the hazard your employees are protected against. Tell us what's in use at your facility and we'll confirm the right method before we arrive.

How often does fit testing need to be repeated?

OSHA requires annual fit testing at minimum, plus retesting after any facial change, weight change, or new respirator model. We can set up a recurring schedule so it's never overdue.
